Production Log 6
This week I have been filming with my group for our music video, its all going very well. We have also been editing the shots that we have taken and put them into action. One of our shots that we shot took especially long because that was the scene when our artist was going to lip sync to the song, there were issues because he kept getting the words confused and mixing them up or not even saying then at all so that was a very long day of shooting also one of our extras needed to practice the scene a lot with our artist therefore it took some time out and set us behind a little so we wasn't able to get a lot of shots done.

This week my group and i were able to start filming a few scenes and ideas. However as the filming process went on we decided to cut a lot of the scenes because it seemed boring and dull. Therefore we decided to change the beginning footage so that it works well with the intro music. We used inspiration from other music videos which is becoming a big help in the filming and editing process. We have started editing our first couple scenes but there has been a mix of opinions about what works well and what doesn't therefore this puts us behind because were still deciding on what would work next. We are still sticking to our shooting script however we are changing things because some things were unable to work well.

Production Log 4

This week my group and I have created our call sheets which includes the things that were going to need when we have a filming day for example who we need for the cast, props, reminders and where the location is. Also we have taken photos of our locations as to where we are filming and the reason that we chose those locations is because of the equipment that we have available to us for example the spotlights in the drama room. Also this week we have taken it upon ourselves to go the extra mile and buy a personalised sweatshirt with our song title on it and we are currently waiting for it to arrive.

The reason that we chose to use the staircase in the school is because this is when Ibrahim enters the drama room/party. Also we want to show that it is actually based inside a school.
