Production Log 4
This week my group and I have created our call sheets which includes the things that were going to need when we have a filming day for example who we need for the cast, props, reminders and where the location is. Also we have taken photos of our locations as to where we are filming and the reason that we chose those locations is because of the equipment that we have available to us for example the spotlights in the drama room. Also this week we have taken it upon ourselves to go the extra mile and buy a personalised sweatshirt with our song title on it and we are currently waiting for it to arrive.

The reason that we chose to use the staircase in the school is because this is when Ibrahim enters the drama room/party. Also we want to show that it is actually based inside a school.
However after consulting with my group we have decided that the choice of location would not be the best idea after a few camera shots that we took did not work with what we wanted therefore we decided to change this location to the pictures shown below.

This week my group and I have created questionnaires that we gave to a variety of different people to see their interest and dislikes into what they think about our music video idea this so that it helps my group and I decide the different things that we would like to have in our music video and the things that wouldn't work we would take out of it. Also we have filmed our focus group which we got a different group of people for and different peoples opinions on it. i have also written my focus group evaluation which is just a basic description of what happened in the video during our focus group and some things that i have pinpointed on what people have said of they like and dislike etc.

Focus Group Evaluation
Focus Group Evaluation
During our focus group my group and I explained our idea to a group of different people with different ethnicities to hear their different opinions of the music video that we would like to create. What we found out is that they did like our ideas for our music video and that they would suggest for their friends to see our music video rather than their family since its more for young and youthful and also the words in the song may be inappropriate so they would share this with their families.
They liked our idea to have our party scene in the drama room of our school since we would have different colour lights and spotlights for the party to make it seem more realistic. Also it will not look like a drama room since the background will be a plain black curtain but there will not be much attention on the background since it would be more focused on the people dancing. They also really liked the idea of different styles since its not something that they really see when watching music videos so therefore its different and they can enjoy it.
